Go Sleep Pods – Real Estate St Lucia
Waking up before the dawn to catch those dreadful early morning flights or waiting for a connection which isn’t due for a few hours is never the best start to a beginning your travels. This about to change…
Most airports offer comfortable chairs with little privacy, however, Finland have become the first airport in Europe to install 19 ‘go sleep pods’, offering travellers the opportunity to have a quick nap between flights or while waiting for flight.
Supplied with pillows and blankets, these ‘go sleep pods’ will cost £6.50 per hour. Each pod has been designed by ‘Finnish Short Rest Solutions’ with the aim of taking stress out of traveling. The seats can be transformed into a bed with a retractable cover that has been designed to block out light and noise. Customers can store there luggage under the seat, while also being able to charge there electrical items by using a built in power source.
After a trial period with the ‘go sleep pods’, positive feedback from passengers lead the Helsinki airport in Finland to remove their pervious relaxation room and install 19 more.
Helsinki offers a book swap to customers and free Internet. They are also planning to open 70 new shops, renovate its exciting terminals and install more ‘go sleep pods’. The goal is to increase its annual passenger volume to 20 million in 2020.
With increasing demand for Real Estate St Lucia, both of St Lucia’s international airports are being constantly upgraded. The ‘go sleep pods’ are expected to be in St Lucian airports within the next few years.
